To understand what I am saying, you have to believe that dance is something other than technique. We forget where the movements come from. They are born from life. When you create a new work, the point of departure must be contemporary life – not existing forms of dance.Pina Bausch
During Kathinka’s career as a dancer she always had a profound interest in personal development. She strived to find ways to engage with people to accompany and teach them to become healthier happier people. At the Laban Centre she made her first experience with dance therapy, in Marberg she studied Motology and she also trained as a focusing consultant. Expanding her interest in personal development she graduated with a diploma in the Grinberg Method. Since 2010 Kathinka works as Grinberg practitioner in her own practice in Kreuzberg Berlin.
