The workshop will consist of two parts:
In the first part the focus is on learning the technique of Joseph’s own movement language through combinations and exercises.
The second part will be devoted to developing a piece through the guided process of exploration and creation of material, with creative tasks.
On the second day there will be a showing of the work in progress that is created during this workshop.
JOSEPH TMIM is an Isreali choreographer and a contemporary dance teacher with a rich experience. He’s a former soloist and associate choreographer at Batsheva Dance Company and a soloist at Reinhild Hofmann Dance Theatre in Germany.
He was also the artistic director of Tolada Dance Company in Berlin and professor at Leipzig University. Now he’s a guest choreographer and teacher all around Europe (Sweden, Hungary, Germany, Netherlands) and Israel.
