Andy Arndt is a dance artist, born in Potsdam, Germany. He received his contemporary dance education on full scholarship at Trinity Laban, London. He holds a BA (HONS) degree in dance theater and was awarded a Dance and Drama Award. Andy has performed in a variety of dance theater productions throughout Europe as well as movies, television productions, Opera and Musical Theater.
Andy was part of the collaborative Project “Moving.Moved.You Move me” in Norway. He performed the choreographic works “Snapshots”, “Tied Feathers” and his first, own piece “Run” at theaters and dance festivals in London and the UK.

In 2006 he decided to return to Germany to join Oxymoron Dance Company in Potsdam/Berlin. The company performed at many festivals and theaters throughout Germany uniting a variety of dance styles such as Contemporary dance, Ballet, Hip Hop, New Dance, Break Dance and Theater incorporating Media.
Furthermore, he began teaching in dance education programmes. Andy also performed at the 2007 Salzburg Festival in the Production “Benvenuto Cellini” directed by Philip Stölzl and choreographed by Mara Kurotschka. Following his interest in acting, Andy played in several short movies and television series. Andy was part of the production “Henri 4” in 2010.
