Lecturer Children’s Ballet

Hannah Heyde was born in Berlin and has been dancing since an early age. In 2018 she joined the professional contemporary dance education program at Berlin Dance Institute. She successfully graduated in 2021.
During Hannah’s dance education program, she had the opportunity to take part in various workshops and intensive programs, for example “the EurAsia Dance Intensive” and the summer Intensives with the “Martha Graham Company”. Hannah also worked with world known choreographers, Joseph Tmim, Adonis Vais, Luana Rosetti, Paul White and Jessica Gaynor.
 
Hannah is currently working as a freelance contemporary dancer in Berlin, where she has performed at various places, such as Petersburg Art Space (collaboration with “Vortex Dance
Theater”), ada Studio (Reinkommen, as part of Pilotprojekt Residenz), Urbanraum (as part of Urbanstage) and at Cordillera Raum für Körper und Utopien (as part of “Evenings on
The Valley”). She was also invited to choreograph a dance piece for Berlin Dance Institute as part of BDI projects in December 2021. In 2022 she took part in the Pilot Project Residency (a collaborative research opportunity) at ada Studio.

In addition, Hannah is teaching creative children’s dance and ballet for children and adults at various schools in Berlin. Hannah is currently teaching creative children’s’ dance and ballet at Berlin Dance Institute.
